Sales attributed to new INOVA dashview GPS, AdSmart revenue program
Austin, Texas – May 17, 2006 – UpLink Corporation, the fastest growing GPS golf business solutions company, announces strong sales of its GPS-based golf business solutions following a successful showing at the PGA Merchandise Show in January 2006 where the company introduced INOVA, the world’s first car-integrated dashview GPS system. Twenty-six golf courses (27.5 18-hole equivalent courses) installed UpLink’s solutions after the show, generating in excess of $7.4 million in sales. Interest in the new INOVA system has been strong, accounting for more than 50% of the installations and virtually all of the courses took advantage of UpLink’s unique GPS advertising programs to cover the cost of their GPS systems.

Nearly all of the courses named the innovative AdSmart revenue generating program as a significant factor in their decisions to install UpLink. "We’ve perfected a program that takes only three to four days to roll-out, resulting in substantial advertising and sponsorship revenue for our courses and helping to cover the entire cost of the GPS system lease payments," states Mike Cronin, UpLink’s senior vice president of sales.
