POWAY, Calif. (May 19, 2006) – Aldila’s shafts slam dunked the competition in Golf Magazine’s Annual Club Test 2006 proving once again that Aldila is the shaft of choice in a hybrid club.
Forty club testers put the latest hybrid clubs through their paces for Golf Magazine and clubs featuring Aldila NV and NVS shafts received the highest rating in every category for hybrid clubs. Overall the Aldila shafts helped give the testers the best feel, playability, forgiveness and distance with their hybrids compared to the competition.
When using the Aldila NV graphite shaft in one club, a tester said that its balance allowed him to hit high or low, draws or fades. Another tester using the NVS-h graphite shaft in a club said that it was one of the best-feeling clubs to date … yet another tester said that there was no sting on misses when using this shaft. Finally, one tester said that even miss hits seem to go 10 yards longer than my irons with this club.
The Darrell Survey Company reported that the Aldila has won every Hybrid shaft count on both the PGA and Nationwide tours to date in 2006. The combination of VS ProtoTM Hybrids and NVTM Hybrids has been favored by nearly a three to one margin over the nearest competitor.
