ORLANDO, Fla. (May 24, 2006) – It was nearly a "clean sweep" for Rife Putters this past weekend on the Professional Tours as they recorded a 2nd Place Finish on the PGA Tour in a playoff at The Colonial and captured a Victory on the Nationwide Tour at the Rheem Classic.
The 2nd Place Finisher at the Colonial recorded his best ever finish on the PGA Tour and earned a paycheck of $648,000.00, moving him up 30 spots on the Money List. Struggling with his putting over the past 5 years, the 2nd Place Finisher decided to put Rife’s Two Bar Blade putter into play earlier in the week and finished T5th in putts per round and in the Top 10 for putts per green for the event.
On the Nationwide Tour, the winner of the Rheem Classic has been looking for a way to earn his PGA Tour card back. It appears that he may have just figured it out. His putting instructor, Mike Shannon, of Sea Island, Georgia, introduced him to Rife’s Horizontal RollGroove Technology and it looks like he’s back on track and playing his best golf since winning the Honda Classic back in 2002. This victory with Rife’s Two Bar Blade putter has moved him up 80 spots on the Money List into the Top Ten.
In 2006 on the PGA Tour, Rife putters have already collected a victory at The Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, a victory at The BMW Asian Open, a 2nd Place Finish at The Sony Open, a 3rd Place Finish at The Masters, and now a 2nd Place Finish at the Colonial.
With success like this on the Professional Tours week after week, it’s obvious that more and more of the top players in the world are finding that Rife Putter’s Roll Groove Technology absolutely works for them.
About Rife Putters
Rife Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGroove faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
