ORLANDO, Fla. (May 24, 2006) – Following the worldwide success of the Explanar Golf Training System, Explanar Golf USA is excited to announce the launch of the Explanar Junior model.
"Nothing will give a child a better start to their golfing life than the Explanar," said Butch Harmon, World’s Number 1 golf coach. "Explanar combines learning and fun and by delivering instant results. It gives children confidence, keeping them motivated and enthusiastic."
The junior model is aimed at children from 3 to 5 feet tall (1.1m – 1.5m) and approximately 4-11 years old. The Explanar Junior is the equivalent of "training wheels" for golf. This scaled down version of the adult model guarantees that children ingrain a correct and repeatable motion as early as possible in their formative golfing years, while at the same time strengthening their golfing muscles.
"We’ve seen amazing results with the Explanar Junior prototypes … they are every bit as powerful as those experienced by adults all over the world," said Tony Clark, Explanar CEO. "All the benefits of Explanar are captured with the Junior model. So whether you’re a golf teacher, a tour player or an amateur, Explanar delivers on its promise to improve tempo, increase clubhead speed and ensure a squarer clubface at impact. It’s the best golf training and fitness system in the world and we challenge anyone to prove otherwise."
Inventor and Top 25 PGA Coach Luther Blacklock added, "If a child has golfing aspirations, Explanar will dramatically improve their chances of realizing their potential."
The Explanar Junior retails for only $599 plus shipping and will be available in July 2006. To reserve an Explanar Junior, call Explanar USA direct at 866 XPLANAR (975-2627) or visit the Web at www.explanar.com.
About the Explanar
The Explanar Golf Training System has four key components. The Explanar itself, a multi adjustable steel hoop set to a golfer’s biomechanical optimum swing plane. The Plane Fin(TM) is an extension of the planar surface and located at the top of the Explanar. It provides a reference point for the top of the backswing and follow-thru to determine if your swing is still on plane. The third is the Power Roller(TM). It is a four-pound weighted roller that is not attached to the Explanar, but rolls and slides around the Explanar, stretching the muscles and training the golfer within their ideal plane. The fourth key component is the Radial Stance Mat(TM). This helps the instructor teach and the golfers learn how to draw and fade the ball.
