Daphne’s Headcovers and Be the Ball Experience Banner Sales!

(May 24, 2006) – Daphne’s Headcovers, the golf industry’s original animal headcover company, has announced remarkable sales through its premier licensing agreement with Be the Ball, Inc. Daphne’s has designed and created four golf club cover Be the Ball characters that have received widespread market acceptance.

Daphne’s has been the industry leader in quality and service since their introduction of animal headcovers more than 25 years ago. Be the Ball approached Daphne’s because of their exceptional reputation and zeal for perfection. "We wanted our audience to expect the highest quality and a commitment to their satisfaction," explained Steve Brown, Be the Ball founder. "The opportunity to team up with Daphne’s sent that message quite clearly."

The two companies worked for more than a year to perfect the designs of four characters named, "Mulligan," "U Da Man," "Beach" and "Birdie." Jane Spicer, president of Daphne’s, explained, "We focused on the smallest of details including the spikes in the golf shoes and the duplication of dimples in the golf balls. That is just a fraction of what separates us from others."

Golf shops carrying the products have reported both unprecedented attention and immediate sales with extremely positive customer reactions. Be the Ball headcovers are already being seen on the LPGA Tour.

Be the Ball headcovers are designed to fit and protect 400-460cc drivers. Detail work includes saddle shoes, a top hat and tight fit. Manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $27.50 and all Daphne’s products include their outstanding life-time guarantee.
