(May 30, 2006) – Jay Haas, who played the tournament using his Wake Forest University C-Thru Grip, sank his putt on the third hole of a playoff with Brad Bryant to win the 2006 Senior PGA Championship. This was Haas’ 90th major championship start and his first career Champions Tour major title.
