GolfOrlando Drives Vacationers with Extreme Golf Makeover

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. (June 1, 2006) -Golf Orlando, a golf marketing co-op comprised of 25 courses in Central Florida, announced today a contest for its customers and prospects called the Extreme Golf Makeover contest.

Everyone who registers at the web site of Golf Orlando between June 1 and September 30, 2006 will be entered and eligible to win.

The grand prize isn’t just a vacation, or free golf and food, and it isn’t free merchandise. This grand prize is all of the above. The winner will stay at the Orlando World Marriott for 4 days and 3 nights of luxury and relaxation. The Orlando resort is the largest Marriott in the world and it provides a comfortable "home away from home" feel with first-class accommodations and customer service.

Hawk’s Landing Golf Club, the on-site golf course, will provide 2-days of expert golf instruction at the Bill Madonna Golf Academy. Bill Madonna has been studying golf for over 30 years and was recently honored as one of the Top 100 Teachers in the country by Golf Magazine.

The grand-prize winner will be scoring higher in style with a brand new set of TaylorMade clubs and full line of apparel from Nike Golf & Ahead. The wardrobe will include shoes, shirts, shorts, and even outerwear for cooler weather.

For fun during the Extreme Golf Makeover getaway, the winner will receive attraction tickets, dinner, and 2 free rounds of golf at Hawk’s Landing (18 holes; 6,604 yards; 71 par)

Golf Orlando is a co-operative marketing venture within Orlando’s golf community to promote Central Florida as a premier golf destination. The organization enters its fifth year and strives to reveal Orlando’s true identity as "Golf’s Ultimate Theme Park."
