Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday Partners With Spirit Airlines to Make Grand Strand More Accessible For New England Golfers
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (May 30, 2006) – Spirit Airlines has announced plans to start daily flights between Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Boston, Mass., beginning August 15, 2006. The Boston to Myrtle Beach flight will depart Logan International Airport each day at 10:05 a.m. with a 12:20 p.m. arrival in Myrtle Beach, just in time for an afternoon round of golf. The Myrtle Beach to Boston flight will leave Myrtle Beach International Airport daily at 1:15 p.m. and arrive in Boston at 3:30 p.m.

Introductory coach fares between Myrtle Beach and Boston start at $79 each way. The new service will be flown on a Spirit Airbus A319 aircraft accommodating 138 passengers with eight seats in Spirit Plus Business Class and 130 in comfortable coach class. With the addition of the Spirit flight to Boston, Myrtle Beach International now offers direct flights to 13 cities in the United States.
