Enders To Oversee Strategic Golf Marketing For All Marriott International Brands, Including 60 Marriott Golf Managed Courses, Located At 45 Facilities In 14 Countries
ORLANDO, Fla. (June 7, 2006) – Marriott Golf, the world’s largest resort golf management company, today announced that Tom Enders has been promoted to Director of Marketing. Enders, who has worked for Marriott for seven years and previously served as Senior Golf Marketing Manager, will oversee strategic golf marketing initiatives for all Marriott International Brands, including 60 Marriott Golf managed courses, located at 45 facilities in 14 countries.
In his role as Director of Marketing, Enders is responsible for the development and implementation of golf-related marketing plans and programs for Marriott Golf, Marriott Hotels and Resorts, Marriott Vacation Club International, The Ritz-Carlton, The Ritz-Carlton Club, Marriott Conference Centers, Faldo Golf Institute and Renaissance Hotels and Resorts. Enders also works closely with Senior Corporate Management, Directors of Golf, Head Golf Professionals, Advertising and Public Relations Agencies, Property Management, Strategic Marketing Partners and Reservations Personnel to execute marketing and communication initiatives.

Enders is currently directing two of Marriott Golf’s largest international marketing initiatives, the "Kids Golf-4-Free" and "Rounds & Rooms" programs. "Kids Golf-4-Free," which is available at 36 properties worldwide encompassing 52 golf courses, allows kids 15 years old and younger to golf for free after 3:00 p.m. when accompanied by a full paying adult and receive free lessons anytime when accompanied by an adult who is taking a fully paid lesson from a Marriott Golf instructor. "Rounds & Rooms" allows golfers to simultaneously book tee times and hotel rooms online at 19 golf properties featuring 29 leading golf courses worldwide.
Prior to joining Marriott Golf’s corporate team in 2004, Enders served as Director of Golf Sales at Camelback and Wildfire Golf Clubs in Arizona. Enders, who graduated with Cum Laude honors from Arizona State University, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, currently resides in Orlando, Florida.
