No. 5 Player in the World Golf Rankings Currently Competes in the Tour 360
CARLSBAD, Calif. (June 7, 2006) – PGA Tour professional Jim Furyk has joined adidas Golf’s Footwear Staff. He currently wears adidas Golf’s award-winning* Tour 360, the same model he wore three weeks ago while winning the Wachovia Championship.
Known for his unique swing and steely competitiveness, Jim currently ranks No. 1 on the PGA Tour in scoring and No. 2 on the money list, and has won 11 times including the 2003 U.S. Open at Olympia Fields. His consistently strong play has earned him membership on nine U.S. national teams, including the previous four Ryder Cup and President’s Cup squads. His strong play during the past two years has put him currently in third place in the 2006 Ryder Cup points list, making him a virtual lock to make the team, and has moved him up to fifth in the World Golf Rankings.
