Albany, GA. – MacGregor, maker of golf equipment that uses advanced technologies to make the game easier and more fun, has promoted Reid Gorman to President, the company announced today. Reporting to MacGregor Chairman and CEO, Barry Schneider, Gorman will be responsible for the company’s North American operations. He will be based at MacGregor’s headquarters in Albany, Georgia.

Gorman brings a career of golf equipment sales and marketing experience to his new position, most recently as Vice President of Sales for MacGregor. Before joining MacGregor, Gorman was Senior Director of Sales for the Top-Flite and Ben Hogan brands of Callaway Golf Company. Prior to that, Gorman served in several sales and sales management roles at Callaway Golf Company.

Reid, 35, holds a B.S. in Business Management from Central Connecticut State University, is an avid golfer, basketball fan and enjoys traveling with his wife, Andrea, and two children, Sarah (8) and Ryan (5).
Gorman replaces Dana Shertz, who will leave the Company to pursue new interests.
