Orlando, Fla., (June 15, 2006) -Golfweek’s Golfest Long Island, June 24-25, an official event of the Commerce Back Championship, has finalized the program and celebrity performances will include: Brain Nash, Dennis Walters, Peter Johncke and Suzy Whaley
As part of this year’s fan-friendly enhancements, admission to Golfest Long Island will be included as part of admission into the Championship on June 24-25. Daily tickets for the Commerce Bank Championship are available for $20 in advance or $25 at the gate. Tickets are also available by calling 516-674-GOLF.
The weeklong Commerce Bank Championship, the only Champions Tour event in New York, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Many of the greatest golfers to ever play the game have competed in the tournament. These include: Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, Gary Player, Raymond Floyd, Craig Stadler and Hale Irwin among others.
