What a week for scorching Nickent Golf! Not only did the # 3 ranked player on the PGA Tour finish 2nd at the 106th U.S. Open using their hybrid, Nickent was in the winning bag of the Knoxville Open champion on the Nationwide Tour. It was their 3rd win in 4 Nationwide events and their 4th win in the last 7 tournaments. The win further adds to their significant lead as the winningest hybrid on the 2006 PGA and Nationwide Tours.
For the second time in three years, this Nickent user is a winner at the Knoxville Open. The winner shot four straight rounds in the 60’s to win the event by five strokes.
Two other players using Nickent hybrids finished in the Top 10 at the event, bringing Nickent’s Top 10 total on the Nationwide to 30 after only 13 events. That is far and away the most Top 10’s on the Nationwide Tour this year by any hybrid manufacturer.
Nickent was the # 1 most played hybrid at the event with 45 golf clubs in play. It is the 9th consecutive Nationwide event that Nickent has been the # 1 most played hybrid.
