Peter Jacobsen Productions (PJP) announced today the winners of the Red Bull Final 5 held at the TPC at Avenel in Potomac, MD.
Amateur golfers Doug Swenson (Parsippany, NJ), Rolf Habbel (Zurich), Rudolf Kemler (Vienna) and Rainer Staub (Zurich) won the contest with pro K.J. Choi, by shooting a 6-under-par, the lowest combined score on the final five holes.
The winning amateur golfers of the Red Bull Final 5 will each receive the following:
â?¢ Two (2) VIP tickets to a New York Red Bull’s Major League Soccer game in New York (the winner gets to choose the game).
â?¢ One (1) round trip coach airfare
â?¢ One (1) night lodging in New York
The Red Bull Final 5 was introduced last month at the Bank of America Colonial (May 18-21), and will be featured at several events throughout the 2006 season including the Cialis Western Open (July 3-9) and the Merrill Lynch Shootout (Nov. 6-12).
The final 5 holes in a round of golf are statistically where golfers of all levels tend to make mistakes due to physical and mental fatigue. The Red Bull Final 5 is uniquely designed to reward those golfers who finish the strongest and perform best on those final holes when it really counts.
With their endorsement of top Tour pros Chris DiMarco and Camilo Villegas, and the integration of the Red Bull Final 5 into various Tournaments, Red Bull has demonstrated their commitment to building the sport of golf.
