New golf programs and resort development are first orders of business between the Golden Bear and the world’s largest destination club
DENVER and NORTH PALM BEACH, FL — Exclusive Resorts, the leader among luxury destination clubs, is further strengthening its golf amenities and services for its members through a partnership with legendary golfer, Jack Nicklaus, and the world’s leading golf course design firm, Nicklaus Design. Nicklaus is working with Exclusive Resorts to elevate its current golf offerings and, through Nicklaus Design, to explore various real estate development opportunities for unique golf destinations for club members.
Responding to member surveys which consistently list golf as part of their lifestyle, Exclusive Resorts will elevate its golf program by sponsoring member events with Jack Nicklaus and incorporating golf training programs into the club through the Nicklaus Academies this year. Additionally, the two firms will explore future projects that will leverage their strengths in golf course design and luxury resort development. Combining Nicklaus Design’s early stage participation in global projects and Exclusive Resorts’ in-depth understanding of vacationers’ recreation desires and luxury residence expertise could result in some of the world’s best golf destinations.
"Golf is a passion for many of our members and through Jack’s involvement with our firm and the partnership with Nicklaus Design, members can expect great enhancements to the golf aspect of our club," said Michael Beindorff, Exclusive Resorts’ chief operating officer. "We deliver nothing but the best vacation experiences for our members who will greatly benefit from this partnership with the best golfer of all time and arguably today’s most-renowned designer."
Jack Nicklaus will provide overall guidance on the club’s golf program and attend scheduled member events on an annual basis. He will also provide exclusive communications on the club’s members-only Web site that will include golf tips and insights into the Nicklaus-designed courses at which Exclusive Resorts members have privileges.
Exclusive Resorts offers its members access to nearly 300 multi-million-dollar residences in 35 of the world’s most distinctive destinations, including more than a dozen of the world’s finest golf destinations. The club offers its members access to over 90 world-class golf courses, including privileged access and special offers at private golf clubs such as The Carnegie Abbey Club in Newport, Rhode Island, The Abaco Club in Abaco, Bahamas and The Old Course at Bovey Castle in Devon, England. Exclusive Resorts also stages golf events and clinics for its members throughout the year, featuring legendary instructor and long-time Nicklaus confidante Jim Flick.
"Exclusive Resorts is a one-of-a-kind club for families, and it provides a first-class experience for golfers and non-golfers alike," said Nicklaus, whose firm has designed 300 golf courses around the world. "We have a distinct advantage in being able to provide Exclusive Resorts with insight into unique, high-end destinations and properties that will be a perfect fit for its members. I look forward to helping my fellow club members enjoy the great game of golf on some of the finest courses in the world."
