Twenty Nine LPGA Players Used YES! Putters in the Tournament
Denver, Co, June 28, 2006 . . . . . . YES! Golf continues to be the fastest growing putter company on the LPGA TOUR with 29 players using a YES! putter last week at the Wegman LPGA, including winner Jeong Jang.
"Our putter count on all the major professional tours continues to grow each week with the LPGA Tour showing the biggest week to week growth," noted Dave Richardson, national sales director. "Last week at the Wegman LPGA we were only 3 putters short of leading the putter count."
Jang’s victory gives YES! Golf ten wins this year on the professional tours and their second LPGA victory of the season. Jang also won the 2005 Women’s British Open using a YES! putter.
Jang used the new Victoria II model to win the Wegmans LPGA by one shot with a four day total of thirteen under par. She is currently seventh on the 2006 LPGA Money List with earnings of over $650,000.
The Victoria II is a face-balanced mallet putter made of 304 stainless steel, featuring a 10% larger head than the original Victoria. The putter features two alignment aids; a ball-width sight alignment aid on the top rail to align ball and face and a single line in the cavity for effortless alignment with the target. The Victoria II comes in a 2.5° loft and 72° lie with 2° flat or upright available. The double bend shaft is available 32"-37" and comes in right-hand only. The Victoria II putter has a suggested retail of $190.00.
