7th Annual Golf Industry Resource Guide Expands Industry Partnerships and Increases Circulation 30%

LA COSTA, CALIF. — Golf Yellow Pages announces the release of the 2006 Golf Yellow Pages, the company’s 7th edition of the golf industry’s most comprehensive directory of golf product and service providers in print. In addition to its circulation list of 16,000 U.S. golf course facilities, the 264-page, 25,000 listing directory is now distributed to members of the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA), the Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA) and the Golf Range Association of America (GRAA). Circulation is up 30% over 2005 levels.

"Historically, our publication has focused on promoting the products and services necessary for a thriving golf course operation," explains publisher David Wogahn. "But this past year we expanded the role of our directory. Now it also serves as a communication platform for industry associations, distributors and other professionals interested in reaching golf industry decision makers."

New reference material was added to make the 2006 resource guide even more informative. Content from Amazon.com and Golf Tips Magazine was included, as well as a handy golf business trade show calendar. Because the Golf Yellow Pages is committed to growing the game and business of golf, the 2006 edition identifies Northern California and Northern Nevada courses participating in Play Golf America, the industry-wide initiative designed to attract new and former players to the game.

The 2006 edition also received a design makeover. Starting with its engaging cover and higher quality paper, it now contains topic-specific indexes that help buyers locate relevant business listings faster. "Golf Yellow Pages users have a single year-long buying resource at their fingertips—from turf management and construction services, to golf shop apparel and hard goods to clubhouse products and technology providers—everything they need to run a successful golf operation in today’s marketplace."
