PGA Tour rookie Bubba Dickerson earns career-best finish at Buick Championship
PLANO, TEXAS, July 3, 2006 – Adams Golf Tour Staff Pro Dana Quigley fired a course record 63 en route to a 3-shot victory at the Greater Kansas City Golf Classic. Quigley became the third Adams Tour Staff member to claim victory in 2006, joining Morris Hatalsky and Jerry Pate.
Quigley’s bag included a 9.5-degree RPM Dual Driver, a 3 and 5 RPM Low Profile Fairway Wood, four Idea Hybrids with lofts of 18, 20, 24 and 30 degrees. He also used a Puglielli wedge and a prototype lob wedge designed by Adams Tour Staff Pro D.A. Weibring and Adams Golf engineers.

"Along with Dana’s fantastic performance at the Kansas City event, PGA Tour rookie Bubba Dickerson had a career-best fifth place finish at the Buick Championship in Connecticut. Several more top performers carried our clubs in their bags on the PGA, Champions and Nationwide Tours this week adding to some incredible numbers in each of the equipment counts."
PGA TOUR: Buick Championship
– Adams Golf Tour Staff Pro Bubba Dickerson wins $154,550 with his career-best, fifth-place finish.
– Adams Golf had the second highest number of hybrids in play at the event.
– Three of the Top 10 and seven of the Top 21 finishers played an Idea hybrid.
CHAMPIONS TOUR: Greater Kansas City Golf Classic
– Adams Golf led the overall wood count, fairway wood count and hybrid count.
– 58 Idea hybrids were used in the event, the next closest competitor had 20 hybrids.
– Five of the Top 10 finishers played an Idea hybrid and four of the Top 10 finishers carried a RPM low profile fairway wood.
– Adams Golf Tour Staff Pros filled the leaderboard: Dana Quigley (1st), R.W. Eaks (9th), Tom Jenkins (9th), D.A. Weibring (13th), Des Smyth (16th), Morris Hatalsky (20th), and Tom Watson (28th).
NATIONWIDE TOUR: Peek’n Peak Classic
– Adams Golf finished third in the overall wood count and had the second highest number of fairway woods in play.
– Three of the Top 10 finishers played an Idea hybrid.
