Bonita Springs, FL (June 27, 2006) – Peter Jacobsen Productions (PJP), a full-service sports marketing and event management firm, announced that it has been retained by Red Bull North America, makers of Red Bull®Energy Drink.
Over the past several months PJP has helped to implement the Red Bull Final 5 Program, a unique "tournament within a tournament" that rewards players for their performance on the final five holes of a round where competitors of all levels tend to make mistakes due to physical and mental fatigue. Since Red Bull has been scientifically proven to increase concentration and improve performance, the Red Bull Final 5 provides the perfect platform to show how Red Bull actually helps increase a players’ physical and mental game when they need it the most. PJP will also help capitalize on the recent positive results of a study conducted by a world-renowned short-game golf instructor that indicated Red Bull could actually cut strokes off of a player’s game.
"Our goal is to ultimately make Red Bull an integral part of every player’s game," said Ed Kiernan, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of PJP.
The announcement comes on the heels of Red Bull’s expanding presence in the North American mainstream sports arena, with its highly anticipated entry into NASCAR racing, its recent acquisition of a Major League Soccer team, the New York Red Bulls, and an increase in the usage of Red Bull by professional athletes. Red Bull is a longtime supporter of adventure, action and motorsports activities around the globe.
