Former Long Drive Tour Champion To Promote Brush-t On Champions TOUR and Nationwide TOUR
Culver City, California, July 6, 2006 â?¦ Brush-tâ?¢, a subsidiary of Bonfit America, and creators of the original and highly-acclaimed bristle-brush plastic golf tee, today announced that Mike Gorton has been named TOUR Representative. In his new role, Gorton, a Professional Long Driver, will oversee the promotion of Brush-t, the flexible, toothbrush-like bristle golf tee on the Champions TOUR and the Nationwide TOUR.
Gorton will be responsible for spearheading efforts to secure TOUR usage for the Company’s line of innovative golf tees, including the 2"/3-Wood Tee, perfect for any fairway wood or hybrid club; a 2.2"/Driver Tee, a standard length tee that is preferred by better players due to its initial lower take off trajectory; a 2.4"/Oversized Tee, designed for the woods and drivers (200cc to 400cc) thus enabling the ball to be struck in the center of the large sweet spot and a 3.125"/XLT, the longest "bristle tee" on the market, which is engineered to compliment the size and launch angle of driver heads over 400cc. These multi-length Brush-t models are designed to maximize distance and accuracy for clubheads of all sizes.

With 18 top 10 finishes in Long Drive competitions, Gorton was the first ever inductee into the Long Drivers of America Hall of Fame in 1996. In 2003 and 2004, Gorton won the Long Drive Tour Championship while also being named Long Driver of the Year. Additionally, Gorton is the only Long Driver to win titles in both The Open Division and the Seniors Division. Having most recently worked as the Srixon Tour Promotions Manager on all the major tours, Gorton brings with him a wealth of experience to Brush-t.
