Oneida Nation Homelands— Tickets are on sale now for the B.C. Open presented by Turning Stone Resort. The PGA TOUR and Turning Stone recently announced that the tournament was being moved to the Atunyote Golf Club because of recent flood damage to The En-Joie Golf Club in Endicott, the tournament’s traditional venue. The dates of the tournament will remain as originally scheduled, July 18-23.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Broome County Community Charities, Inc.
More than 130 touring professionals are expected to compete. The field will be cut to the top 70 players plus ties after the second round. All four rounds will be televised live by USA Network.
Gates are open to spectators on Tuesday, July 18 for practice rounds on the Tom Fazio-designed layout. That will be followed by a Pro-Am event on Wednesday, July 19. The official tournament gets underway on Thursday, July 20 with the final round on Sunday, July 23.
Tee times are scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Thursday-Friday and 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Gates will open each day at 6 a.m.
Tickets are priced at a special rate of $10 per day to encourage area golf fans to support the event and Broome County Community Charities. Tickets can be purchased at the Showroom Box Office or by calling 315-361-SHOW or toll free at 877-833-SHOW. Children age ten years and younger will be admitted free if accompanied by an adult.
