Pinfire Golf, located in Southern California continues to focus its attention on the major professional tour players with great success. Tour representative Greg Martin said "These players really appreciate our putters; they can see the results each week in the size of their checks. We don’t pay players to use our product; they choose them because they see improved results. A little improvement in putting can make a big difference in their paydays."
One example of Pinfire’s success is young Christopher Baryla, a non-exempt player on the Nationwide Tour, who has to get through Monday qualifiers, and then make the cut and finish strong if he wants to continue on to the next week. This is a highly competitive Tour, where each putt counts, and counts big. Playing his Pinfire putter since last season on the Canadian Tour, Chris has now graduated to making cuts on the Nationwide, and in the last month he has had a 22nd place, a 19th place, and a 9th place finish. He attributes part of this success to his successful relationship with Pinfire. He is now moved to 22nd in overall putting stats on the Nationwide Tour this season.
Baryla has improved his putting statistics by almost a full stroke per round over last year. 3 or 4 strokes per tournament can mean the difference in making the cut, and certainly spells the difference in the position on the leaderboard on Sunday. Said Baryla, "I met Greg at a Canadian Tour event, and had been playing a Two Ball, but the way the Pinfire Liberty sets up and the way the ball comes off the face, it is just a better product. I really like the way it rolls, and if you miss-hit even a little bit; it doesn’t seem to affect the putt. Out here with the level of play and the equipment, putting does become even more important than perhaps in the past. If definitely adds to your confidence."
Pinfire Golf putters are CNC milled from a solid block of 6061 aerospace grade aluminum. Their unique 6-way alignment system and adjustable weighting all contribute to a customizable putter that may be the most forgiving in the industry. The vast majority of the weight is distributed to the toe, heel and rear of the putter, making off center hits less harmful on distance and direction. The solid one-piece construction provides for better feel and feedback to the player.
Pinfire Golf offers 5 separate models with 5 color options. Many shaft options are available, including belly and long. Double bend offset or center shafts are also available. For details call: 951-898-1000, or visit www.pinfiregolf.com
