St. Charles, IL – On Tuesday, June 27th, Vulcan Golf’s V14 Driver with PowerBall Technology was featured on NBC’s The Today Show as one of this years hottest new golf products. Vulcan’s V14 Driver is like no other driver on the market right now. With their patented PowerBall Technology, Vulcan has developed a way to move up to 28 grams of weight around the perimeter of the driver head, where it really counts. The buzz on the "Today Show" was Vulcan Golf’s V14 Driverâ?¦it’s "weigh" ahead of its time.
The V14 weighting system features two "tuning channels" around the perimeter of the club head, that hold up to 14 weighted Spacer Pearls that can be configured to improve the distance, accuracy, launch angle and spin rate of any player. The Spacer Pearls can be arranged in any configuration in the "tuning channels" (toe, heel, front, back) in order to place the weight and center mass in the "ideal position" for an individual’s swing. The system acts like an Air Traffic Control System that optimizes the golfers ball flight pattern.
In designing the V14, one of the most important aspects was the ability to not only alter head weight for the purpose of various shaft and length options, but to be able to move mass around the perimeter of the club head where it matters the most. This allows you to manipulate almost 22% of the total head mass from heel, to toe, or from front to back to best serve the needs of improving your long game.
"The V14 Driver is the most exciting and revolutionary product we’ve ever developed," said Gary Hansberger, President of Vulcan Golf. "We look forward to bringing it to the market and offering golfers a driver that is perfectly "tuned" to their swing so they can hit the ball further and straighter than ever before."
