(July 19, 2006) – SureShot GPS, a handheld golf course measuring device with enhanced qualities, has joined forces with Golf Plus, Ltd., Europe’s leading developer and distributor of satellite GPS golf equipment, in a distribution and manufacturing agreement which will accelerate the penetration and growth of GPS technology within golf the world over. Golf Plus, Ltd., will manufacture SureShot GPS on a worldwide basis and distribute it throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Bringing the two companies together has increased substantially the number of mapped courses available, with over 1,000 in the UK alone. The new partnership will mean GPS technology can be accessed and utilized by golfers in all corners of the globe.
