EL SEGUNDO, CA—Total Golf Adventures, leading the initiative in junior golf instruction across the country, has formed an alliance with Garb, Inc. to become the official provider of golf attire for participants and staff, it was announced today by Joshua Jacobs, President and CEO of this fast-growing California company.
Garb, Inc., based in Lakewood, CO., manufactures golf clothing for junior golfers as well as infants and toddlers. The company is also the primary supplier of junior, infant and toddler apparel for the United States Golf Association, PGA of America and the United States Tennis Association.
Garb will produce golf apparel for all program instructors as well as apparel for all youngsters participating in the programs, all with the TGA logo. Apparel for participants includes golf caps, solid shirts for boys and girls, performance shirts, outerwear and visors.
"Our new alliance with Garb is a major step forward for us," said Josh Jacobs, president and founder of TGA. "It will provide our licensees with a quality line of apparel and will give us a consistent look and feel throughout the country. This consistent look is important in helping grow the TGA brand.
"Since TGA was formed in 2004, more than 25,000 youngsters have been introduced to golf. We expect that number to nearly double as we anticipate 50 locations throughout the country by the end of 2006," added Jacobs. "And having a company like Garb on our team is important."
"We are excited to be partnering with TGA", said Joe Silva, President of Garb (www.garbinc.com). "TGA is a company that’s making incredible strides in growing the game of golf through kids. An affiliation with TGA is an important step in securing our position as the premier golf apparel company for children."
Garb, Inc. is the leading provider of golf apparel to country clubs and golf resorts around the country.
Total Golf Adventures (www.totalgolfadventures.com) is based El Segundo, CA. and operates 32 national programs in 23 states. Since launching in fall of 2004, TGA instructors have taught more than 25,000 children in over 600 schools.
