Gastonia, NC – AccuFLEX Golf, The Official Shaft Of Longer DrivesTM captured its’ 12th World Long Drive Title and set two new World Records at the RE/MAX World Junior Finals held this past weekend at The Trophy Club C.C. in Roanoke, TX.
AccuFLEX Golf would like to congratulate Jamie Sadlowski, who used and AccuFLEX Assassin shaft in his 9 Degree Failsafe driver made by Geek Golf to win the Junior World Title and set two new World records.
Jamie’s winning drive in the finals was an astonishing 420 yards! In the Semi-Finals he set a RE/MAX Finals record with a drive of 437 yards, second only to Jason Zuback in any RE/MAX World Finals Championship. Art Sellinger, President of the Long Drivers Association (LDA), is retiring the golf ball that Jamie hit 437 yards in competition to the LDA World Long Drive Hall of Fame.
This victory gives Sadlowski an automatic exemption to compete in the Open Division of The RE/MAX World Long Drive Championships, which will be held in Mesquite, NV this October.
"This kid is huge off the tee," said Jody Baucom, President of AccuFLEX Golf. "For anyone to hit a ball that far is an amazing featâ?¦ and Jamie does it on a pretty consistent basis. I’m pleased AccuFLEX has a shaft that works for him and allows him to compete at this level. We wish him all the luck in the world in October. If he’s still putting it out there around 420 in the finals, he’s going to be real tough to beat."
