Bedford, New Hampshire, July 21, 2006 â?¦ On the heels of introducing the innovative K-VEST product suite, Bentley Kinetics, Inc., a leader in the field of wireless motion analysis, today announced the hiring of three key executives who will serve as Regional Sales Representatives. The three representatives include Landry Mahan, who will manage the Southeast region and college division; Tim Schrader, who will manage the Western Region and John Scheffler, who will manage the Northeastern United States region.
Originally from Richardson, TX, Landry Mahan brings with him a strong background as both a player and instructor, having played professional golf from 2000-2003, and later becoming the Assistant Coach for the Men’s Golf Team at Florida State University. Mr. Mahan will utilize this experience, as well as his extensive professional network, to introduce the company’s K-VESTâ?¢ products to PGA Professionals, Division I, II and III coaches, PGA TOUR players, as well as the AJGA circuit. Mr. Mahan graduated from Oklahoma State University, where he was a member of 2000 NCAA National Championship Team. He was also a Member of the Tour de Las Americas 2001 and a member of the Asian PGA Tour 2002.
Tim Schrader, a veteran Bentley team member, brings more than 30 years of teaching experience to the Company’s sales team. Mr. Schrader has worked as an instructor at some of the premier golf facilities in the country, including the Marriott Desert Springs Resort, PGA National Resort & Spa and the Okemo Valley Golf Club. Since 1996, he has served as the Director of Player Development for Bentley Kinetics, where he had the opportunity to work with PGA, LPGA, and mini tour players. Mr. Schrader’s primary focus will be to successfully introduce 3D technology and the K-VEST product suite to select PGA sections and members on the west coast.
The son of a PGA Golf Professional, John Scheffler, will utilize his professional network to introduce the K-VEST to the Northeast Region of the United States. Mr. Scheffler has an extensive playing and teaching background, having worked directly with company founder, Michael Bentley, for over 10 years. In addition to sales initiatives, he will utilize his experience in 3D technology and swing biomechanics to help educate future K-VEST instructors. Prior to joining Bentley Kinetics, Mr. Scheffler was a teaching professional at the Ocean Edge Golf Resort on Cape Cod. He received a marketing degree from Babson College in 1994.
"The addition of these three experienced golf professionals to our sales team offers us a tremendous opportunity to drive products in key regions of the country, while educating PGA Professionals, golf coaches and players to the vast benefits of K-VEST," said Michael Bentley, Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Bentley Kinetics, Inc. "We are confident that these professionals will successfully lead our sales and education initiatives and continue to drive our Company’s success."
The K-VEST, which can be used indoors or outdoors, year-round, uses a video camera and 3 wireless sensors that are strategically placed on the golfer’s hip, shoulder and hand. These sensors communicate with Bentley’s proprietary KINESYNCâ?¢ software on a laptop to display live video and 3-D animation in the collection mode. The instructor simply records a swing, and within seconds, the software generates a complete 3-D swing analysis allowing the instructor to quickly identify swing faults. The exercise mode is then used to provide real-time audio/visual feedback to optimize the student’s learning experience.
