Golfing Magazine, formerly Pub Links Golfer Magazine, a national and local magazine in one announces its upcoming Summer issue will feature "Wedges and Specialty/Hybrid Clubs" in the "Hands On" Play Testing section and invites all manufacturers to participate in the play testing program.
In each issue, Pub Links Golfer Magazine play tests a different product category in the "HANDS ON" section.
If you have not already sent product, the remaining "HANDS ON" Schedule for 2006 is as follows:

We invite all manufacturers to participate in our "HANDS ON" Play-Testing.
â?¢ Should you wish to participate in the Wedge testing, we ask that you send 2 Wedges.
â?¢ If you wish to participate in the Specialty Club/Hybrid testing – please send 2 hybrids in regular and stiff flex of the product you wish to have tested. Please include product images and product information or send via email.
â?¢ More than one model of Wedge or Specialty Club/Hybrid may be submitted for consideration.

OUR METHOD
As many of you know, Our "HANDS ON" and "New on the Tee" Play-Testing departments are designed to play-test products in a way that is fair to both club makers and consumers, Pub Links Golfer Magazine utilizes PGA professionals to supervise amateurs to test the latest clubs both on a range and over at least one round of golf. All play-testers are volunteers. They are asked to rate clubs on such categories as Appearance, Feel, Forgiveness, Consistency, Distance and Value using a scale of 1-10, to come up with an Overall Performance Rating. We DO NOT rate clubs against other clubs, rather, we ask our play-testers to rate the club for what it is, to them. This is a subjective exercise. We make no pretense to being scientific. We simply offer our readers the same kind of informal feedback they might get, say, from a friend.
