HUNTINGTON BEACH, CAâ?¦Cleveland Golf is proud to introduce the HiBORE Hybrid as its latest addition to the HiBORE line of clubs. Developed with the same Distance Driven Geometryâ?¢ as the HiBORE driver and fairway woods, this revolutionary new hybrid features a lower and deeper center of gravity compared to other hybrids.
The HiBORE Hybrid’s inverted crown design coupled with its unique Thin Crown Technologyâ?¢ has allowed designers at Cleveland Golf to relocate 15% more discretionary weight to the rear skirt of the clubhead. This repositioning of weight to the outer rear perimeter has increased MOI significantly while making it easier for players of all levels to get the ball airborne more easily. The HiBORE Hybrid’s face-centered performance has helped to create a more consistent and less penalizing club which allows mis-hits to perform nearly as well as perfect shots. The club’s tour-inspired face profile has also given it a larger face area and sweet spot, which will lead to added confidence at address. The HiBORE Hybrid’s parabolic leading edge and face profile promote a larger hitting area, as well as increased playability out of all types of turf conditions.
The new HiBORE Hybrid will begin shipping on August 1, 2006 and will carry an MSRP of $235 for graphite and $210 for the steel shafted model.
