The Open Championship 2007 Tickets Now On Sale

July 31, 2006

The R&A has frozen ticket prices for The Open Championship 2007 at Carnoustie. Tickets will go on sale online at www.opengolf.com

"We are putting tickets on sale a little earlier than usual so that spectators have longer to take advantage of the substantial season ticket discounts of around 40%," said David Hill, Director of Championships for The R&A.

"Until the end of January, a season ticket will cost £150 and we feel this represents excellent value when compared to the cost of daily tickets for the eight days of practice and Championship play."

A daily ticket on the four Championship days costs £50 per day and juniors continue to be well catered for with free admission for all under-16’s. Concessions are available.

At present, all ticket enquiries should be directed through www.opengolf.com. Telephone ticket sales will commence in due course.
