Pavin To Play In 2006 Buick Open

GRAND BLANC, Mich., July 28 — Corey Pavin, who set the PGA Tour record for nine holes (26) yesterday (at the U.S. Bank Championship), has committed to the 2006 Buick Open at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc.

Pavin, 46, has 14 career PGA Tour wins, including the 1995 U.S. Open.

This will be Pavin’s first appearance at the Buick Open since 2002 and his sixth overall. His best finish was a tied for second to Fred Couples in 1994.
