REDMOND, Wash. – Bite Footwear, manufacturer of the best biomechanical, performance golf footwear, is one of the official sponsors of the 2006 PGA Tour Superstore World Amateur Handicap Championship set for Aug. 28 through Sept. 1 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Bite will be a featured display at the event’s tradeshow, the "World’s Largest 19th Hole" at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Each evening after tournament play, participants and their guests attend the 19th Hole, which includes an extensive golf exposition, equipment demos, entertainment, prize drawings, a golf expo, special clinics, demonstrations, guest appearances, golf games, etc. are all part of the week’s festivities.
The "Bitemobile" will also be at the event. The mobile footwear trailer provides personalized fitting and on location promotion of consumer foot heath. The PGA Tour Superstore World Amateur Handicap Championship is a 72-hole tournament played on 66 Myrtle Beach area golf courses each August. Participants compete for the right to be crowned "World Amateur Golf Champion" and to win some of the more than $500,000 in prizes given away at the tournament.
