ATLANTA, Ga. – The game of golf is a sport governed by an elaborate set of rules and situations that very few players are formally trained in. Unless, of course, you decide to become a professional rules official or you’re one of those couch potatoes who sits glued to PGA Tour telecasts waiting to pounce at the slightest rules infraction.

Now there’s a fun, enjoyable way to learn the rules or tune-up your own game.

Gimme A Rulingâ?¢ includes more than 550 flash cards that feature rulings from the book "Decisions on the Rules of Golf" as published by the United States Golf Association together with the Royal and Ancient of St. Andrews, Scotland.

"This game provides everyone with a way to learn the rules of the game in an entertaining way," said Glenn Thurman, inventor. "It’s great for kids who are learning the game and adults who want to brush up on the rules," said Thurman.

You can enjoy reading through the situation and ruling cards as a personal challenge, or you can challenge friends and family to a fun game sure to make all who play more knowledgeable about the Rules. You score the game like a round of golf, the player with the lowest score after 18 holes/questions wins.

Just like the game of golf, you can play by yourself or with some friends. You can challenge your own best score when playing Gimme A Rulingâ?¢ by yourself.

The question and answer cards contain more than 550 on the course scenarios with the correct rulings as provided by the USGA. The cards are divided into 10 categories:

1. The game / order of play / teeing ground

2. Clubs and the ball

3. Players responsibilities

4. Playing the ball (A)

5. Playing the ball (B)

6. The putting green

7. Ball moved, deflected or stopped

8. Relief situations and procedure (A)

9. Relief situations and procedure (B)

10. Administration

Whether you are a golf enthusiast or buying a gift for a golfer, Gimme A Rulingâ?¢ is a must have game. This USGA-licensed game is packaged in a cherry finished wooden box that makes a great corporate gift or tournament prize. It’s a great tool for teaching professionals and golf schools too.
