PGA Professional Finishes Second at the U.S. Bank Championship
AccuSport International, Inc. announced today that veteran PGA Professional Jerry Kelly has endorsed the Vector Launch System line of products. Kelly, who recently finished second at the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee and also finished second at the Chrysler Classic of Tucson in February, has been practicing and training on a Vector Launch System since 2005.
AccuSport is the leading developer and marketer of golf swing launch monitors and its Vector Launch System is recognized throughout the golf industry for its accuracy, portability and affordability. The Vector and Vector Pro Launch Systems measure and analyze launch angle, ball speed, backspin, sidespin and side angle to instantaneously quantify the performance of both player and equipment. The new Vector Pro also now offers a fully integrated video swing analysis application for lessons, along with a student database for storing sessions.
"I contacted AccuSport in December because I was freezing my butt off hitting balls in a dome in Wisconsin and had no idea how far or how well I was swinging. I needed the best and most accurate information available on the market to help me work on my game during the off-season. I’ve continued to work on the Vector through the season and am very excited with the new Vector Pro with video swing analysis software," Kelly said.
Don Thorup, AccuSport’s General Manager and Chief Operating Officer said, "We were really delighted when Jerry called and asked to become part of the AccuSport team. We’ve been thrilled by his success in 2006 and are very pleased to have supported him as he has worked so hard on his game. It’s exciting and gratifying to know that our products are contributing to his great year."
AccuSport recently introduced the new Vector Pro Launch System that now has a fully integrated video swing analysis software application. Golfers can now visually compare swing, grip and stance changes to actual ball performance data.
"I’m very excited about the new Vector Pro product platform," Kelly said. "AccuSport has taken launch monitors to the next level with the integrated video swing analysis, so now I can immediately visually compare my swing changes to the actual ball flight captured by the launch monitor. I can’t imagine practicing without this information"
