Denver, Co, August 14, 2006 . . . YES! Golf hit a milestone last week in the young company’s history by leading the Darrell Survey putter count for the first time on a major tour. YES! had 37 putters in play last week at the LPGA Canadian Women’s Open, including four of the top ten finishers. The nearest competitor was at 33.
"This is definitely an exciting time for our company," stated Francis Ricci, CEO & President of YES! Golf. "We are growing at a record pace both on tour and in the golf shops and it is because of the hard work and dedication of our entire company. We have spent a great deal of time on tour this year and our efforts are starting to pay off. The tour players have found tremendous success with Yes! C-Groove putter technology. Many of the players have improved their overall putting stats and more importantly have gained confidence on the green. Winning this week’s putter count on the LPGA Tour confirms we are moving in the right direction."
Over the last 6 months on the LPGA Tour, the YES! putter count has increased weekly. Since February, the putter count has steadily grown from the low teens to upper 20’s in June and then hit the 30’s in the last three full-field events with 37 putters in play in both the British and Canadian Women’s Open. Recent signings of tour standouts; Rosie Jones, Christina Kim, Jeong Jang and Laura Davies has put an explanation point on how well received YES! C-Groove putter technology has become.
In addition to the strong showing for YES! Golf on the LPGA Tour, the winners of last week’s Nationwide and Futures Tour events both used a YES! putter.
YES! C-Groove putter face technology is manufactured with a precision-milled set of concentric, C-shaped grooves. These grooves are specifically engineered to enhance and maximize the over-rolling motion of the ball. C-Groove putters roll the ball sooner and truer resulting in more control, accuracy and consistency. There are currently 17 C-Groove putter models available.
Yes! Golf is the emerging leader in the field of advanced putter design and related technology. Based in Denver, Colorado, European putting instructor and inventor, Harold Swash, started Yes! Golf in 1995. His innovative theory of concentric grooves resulted in C-Groove technology. Today, C-Groove putters are taking the golf world by storm making Yes! Golf one of the fastest growing putters on the professional tours. For more information on Yes! Golf call 800.845.4327 or log onto www.yesgolf.com.
