On the Nationwide Tour…at the Xerox Classic…Cleveland Tour staffer Kevin Stadler won the event wearing FIDRA apparel and using TA3 irons, a 588 PW (49º), and CG11 wedges (56º & 60º). Fellow Cleveland staffer Glen Day finished in second place with a Never Compromise GM2 Exchange putter (#3), Launcher steel fairway woods (13º & 17º), CG2 irons (3-PW), a 900 SW (54º) and a 588 LW (60º). We had a total of 24 staff players in the field with 42 total woods, which included 15 drivers (7 of which were HiBORE drivers). The HiBORE fairway wood continued in weekly increase in numbers reaching a total of 7 at the event. Cleveland Golf won the Utility Iron Count with 5 LDI’s.
On the PGA TOUR…at The International…Steve Flesch finished in a tie for 3rd using a GM2 HM putter, a Launcher Comp (9.5º), CG2 irons (3-PW) & CG10 wedges (56º & 60º). David Toms continued with his rapid return to form finishing T19 and T12 in driving accuracy. Toms used a HiBORE (9.5º), HiBORE fairway woods (15º & 19º), a HiBORE Hybrid, CG2 irons (4-9), 588 wedges (47º, 54º & 60º) and a Never Compromise Milled Series putter (#7). Cleveland Golf also finished in a first place tie in the Utility Iron Count.
On the LPGA…at the Canadian’s Women’s Open…the winner used a Never Compromise Voodoo putter.
