Performance knitwear brand Glenbrae Golf has launched and exclusive version of its innovative Spirol Seamless Lambswool knitwear that combines the outstanding product performance benefits established with its crew and V neck plain garments with pattern texture and seasonal colours.

The range, named Spirol – By Design will be available in crew and V neck styles in a choice of 3 colours Stone, Ochre and Olive all selected from the woollen industry colour forecast palette for Autumn Winter 2006/7. The design features a currently high fashion Diamond Linx pattern on the front of the garment that is integrally knitted as part of the Seamless Knitting process.

Commenting on the launch Glenbrae Golf’s General Manager Giles Birkhead said; "Customers have been requesting for some time that we introduce a patterned garment into our range so they can combine latest fashion looks with the inherent performance benefits of Spirol Seamless Technology. The Limited Edition delivers exactly that, early customer reaction has been extremely positive."

The range will carry an SSP of £49.95 will available from 1st Nov. Customers will have the opportunity to pre book the range during September through October with orders being manufactured at the company’s UK manufacturing facility, the range will not be a stock service so customers are advised to place orders early.

The Technologies

SPIROL is a high technology yarn spinning process blending 100% Merino lambs wool with SPIROL. The result is a multi component yarn which contains excellent elastomeric properties, which when knitted produces a modern fabric providing ground-breaking performance benefits.

Typically, a knitted garment consists of separate parts–the front and back body panels and the sleeves, which are sewn together afterwards. In sharp contrast, SEAMLESS TECNOLOGY knitwear is produced in one entire piece, three-dimensionally, directly on the knitting machine.

Key Performance benefits of the product are:

– Superior comfort and fit

– Increased elasticity providing outstanding shape recovery

– Improved swing freedom due to no seams

– Significant garment structural stability

– Improved durability, resistance to wear

– Very low Pilling, excellent rating in industry tests
