10-Year Agreement Also Names Jacobsen as Exclusive Turf Equipment Supplier to PGA Golf Properties
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Jacobsen, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, reached a 10-year agreement with The PGA of America to serve as both the Official Turf Equipment Supplier to The PGA of America and Exclusive Turf Equipment Supplier to PGA Golf Properties.
Jacobsen turf equipment, which has been trusted to maintain legendary golf courses, royal palace lawns and professional sports fields, will now be used by PGA Golf Properties at facilities across the nation.

"As we renovate our golf courses at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla., and prepare Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Ky., for the 2008 Ryder Cup, Jacobsen turf equipment will play a key role in defining the look of these marquis PGA properties."
The agreement also allows Jacobsen to support PGA-branded media and offer special programs to golf facilities which employ PGA Professionals. Jacobsen will have exclusive usage of The PGA of America and PGA Golf Properties trademarks and logos and can also promote its exclusive supplier status through signage at PGA Golf Properties and on headwear for grounds crews.
