A Championship Finish to a Winning Season
Marlborough, MA-August 21, 2006- This year CHAMP Spikes/MacNeill Engineering accomplished what no golfer could, sweeping all four majors to secure a Grand Slam claiming victory at the PGA Championship where the victor and Wanamaker Trophy winner capped off the last major victory on the PGA Tour wearing CHAMP Spikes. In addition to the PGA Championship, CHAMP Spikes has claimed victories at The Masters, The US Open, and The British Open this year.
At the PGA Championship, the victor shot a final round of 68 on the 3rd course where a 5-shot lead secured his 3rd PGA title and 12th major victory with a total score of 270 for the weekend.

Again, CHAMP Spikes put its best foot forward at the PGA Championship where seven out of the top ten finishers sported CHAMP Spikes. Overall, 59 out of the 156 golfers (40%) at this year’s PGA Championship wore CHAMP Spikes.
