TOUR Greats Peter Jacobsen and Scott McCarron also join campaign
NAPLES, Fla. (August 23, 2006) – Peter Jacobsen Productions (PJP) announced today that it has successfully renewed endorsement deals between Ketel One Vodka and Champions Tour professionals Arnold Palmer and Peter Jacobsen, while adding PGA TOUR professional Scott McCarron to its golf marketing initiatives over the next three years.
Ketel One will continue to feature the Hall of Fame inductee Palmer in its advertising campaigns via print media, while Jacobsen and McCarron will anchor the brand’s event strategy through appearances and outings.
"What began in 2004 has grown exponentially in terms of relationship marketing for our brand," said Bill Eldien, president and chief executive officer of Nolet Spirits U.S.A. "Golf resonates with our customers and our relationship with Palmer, Jacobsen and McCarron puts us in a class all by ourselves."
All three players will also enhance and activate Ketel One’s recent sponsorship agreement with the PGA TOUR and World Golf Hall of Fame, where the ultra premium brand has been designated "Proud Supporter of PGA TOUR Charities," as well as "Preferred Vodka of PGA TOUR Tournament Players Clubs."
PJP’s chief marketing officer and executive vice president Ed Kiernan, who orchestrated the deal, said, "Ketel One is becoming more and more synonymous with golf and being associated with Arnold Palmer not only exemplifies the persona of the brand but also reflects the lifestyle of our discerning consumers. It’s just a natural fit."

About Ketel One Vodka
For ten generations, the Nolet family has been distilling the finest spirits using techniques and recipes perfected by Joannes Nolet and his successors at the Nolet Distillery in Schiedam, Holland. Ketel One, named after the original distilling kettle number one, is made in small batches using traditional copper pot stills, filtered through charcoal and rested in tile lined tanks until perfect. This costly, painstaking process yields a limited quantity of Ketel One Vodka that possesses a refined elegance, distinctive smoothness and unmatched quality. Ketel One’s Web site address is www.KetelOne.com.
