Sponsors of the 13th Annual Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic will have their company name/logo presented to event participants, event attendees and those monitoring the golf event live off the Internet through eGolfScore’s unique Event Scoring Program (eSP). Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic
The Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic – called "A Magical Weekend" by Pam Valvano, brings together more than one hundred celebrities, several hundred local and national sponsors, and over one thousand volunteers to raise money for cancer research. In just 12 years, The Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic has donated almost $12 million dollars to The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Those dollars represent grants at scientific and medical facilities nationwide that will someday lead to finding a cure for cancer.
In addition to assisting The V Foundation with The Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic, eGolfScore will also provide its services on Friday, August 25th at the Golf Classic’s Pre-V golf event, at Pinehurst No. 6. At Pinehurst, one hundred golfers will play in a Ryder Cup format as their scores are displayed in real-time over the eGolfScore real-time wireless scoring system.
