adidas Golf Wins Award

CARLSBAD, Calif. (August 22, 2006) – Each year, tens of thousands of trade and media representatives from the global sports community gather at ispovision to see what’s new and hot in sports style. This year’s mega-event was held in Munich, Germany from July 16-18, where 1,015 exhibitors from 47 countries presented their latest innovations and collections for summer 2007. An international jury composed of fashion specialist dealers from several countries judged garments, submitted by 41 brands in five product categories, on the basis of their salability, innovation and design.

adidas Golf’s ClimaCool® line of golf apparel and ClimaProof® line of golf outerwear were instrumental to helping adidas Golf earn ispovision’s highest honors in the Global SportStyle "golf function" category. Last year, adidas Golf’s Tour 360 golf shoe earned the Footwear of the Year award; a significant achievement given that the category encompasses sport footwear of all types, not just golf-specific.
