Midwest Sports Management LLC to manage event
Blue Springs, Missouri – The Midwest Section PGA announced today a multi-year agreement with Midwest Sports Management LLC to support the Kansas City Golf Show. The 2007 Kansas City Golf Show will be held February 9-11, at the Overland Park Convention Center in Overland Park, Kansas.
"We are excited about this opportunity to work closely with Midwest Sports Management to provide Kansas City area golf enthusiasts with a first-class golf show," said Brad Demo, Executive Director of the Midwest Section PGA. "Our mission as golf professionals is to promote and grow the game of golf. The 2007 Kansas City Golf Show offers us a venue to do just that."
The Midwest Section PGA will work in cooperation with Midwest Sports Management LLC in the planning and production of the Kansas City Golf Show. In addition, Midwest Section Golf Professionals will conduct clinics, provide golf tips, and more.
The Kansas City Golf Show features a Midwest Section PGA Main Stage; Saturday Junior Golf Clinic; Kansas City Putting Championship; Product Demonstration Stage; and a large Driving Range where show attendees can try out the newest equipment from major national manufacturers. Exhibitors include local and regional golf courses and associations, regional and national golf destinations, golf-related products, lifestyle-related products, and more.
More than 100 exhibitors are expected to be on hand, providing local golf enthusiasts a wide variety of information and activities. The 2007 Kansas City Golf Show is open to the public. Show hours are Friday, February 9, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM; Saturday, February 10, from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM; and Sunday, February 11, from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. General admission tickets are $7 and may be purchased at the door. Admission is free for children ages 12 and under. Parking is free.
