Revolutionary Wireless Motion Analysis System To Be Introduced At Exclusive Demo Events Nationwide; PGA Professionals To Receive MSR Credits For Participation
Bedford, New Hampshire, August 28, 2006 â?¦ On the heels of introducing the K-VEST product suite, an instructional system that is revolutionizing the way PGA Professionals analyze the golf swing, Bentley Kinetics, Inc., a leader in the field of wireless motion analysis, today announced that it has scheduled instructional K-VEST demo days, exclusively for PGA/LPGA golf professionals. With upcoming events scheduled in New York, Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Michigan, and Atlanta, among other markets, the Company expects to reach out to hundreds of golf professionals to provide first-hand training and education on the K-VEST and the Company’s proprietary KINESYNCâ?¢ Software.
The K-VEST Demo Program, which will provide PGA Professionals with between 2-4 PGA MSR Credits for participating, will kick-off on August 29th with a sold out event at the Scarsdale Golf Club in Hartsdale, New York, followed by stops in Denver, Colorado; East Lansing, Michigan; Phoenix, Arizona; Las Vegas, Nevada; Lahainia, Hawaii; Atlanta, Georgia; and Munich, Germany. A complete schedule of these events, along with a registration page, can be found at www.k-vest.com.
Launched in January at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show, and backed by advanced wireless technology and 16+ years of biomechanical research, K-VEST is revolutionizing the way physical motion is measured and optimum performance achieved. It is now possible for golf professionals to capture physical motion in real time, identify swing faults, and then effortlessly communicate the correct movements to students. Now, through the K-VEST Product Suite, Bentley Kinetics is offering a breadth of affordable products and services that address the needs of golf instructors and their students.
"K-VEST demo days will allow PGA/LPGA Professionals to get hands-on experience with the many benefits of teaching with wireless 3D technology," comments Tony Morgan, a PGA Professional and Bentley Kinetics’ Director of Marketing. "We look forward to introducing our technology to golf professionals all around the world."
The K-VEST, which can be used indoors or outdoors, year-round, uses a video camera and three wireless sensors strategically placed on the golfer’s hip, shoulder and hand. These sensors communicate with Bentley’s proprietary KINESYNCâ?¢ software on a laptop to display live video and 3-D animation in the collection mode. The instructor simply records a swing, and within seconds, the software generates a complete 3-D swing analysis allowing the instructor to quickly identify swing faults. The exercise mode is then used to provide real-time audio/visual feedback to optimize performance improvement.
The full product suite consists of the K-VEST, the K-SYSTEM, and K-WEB, all components that provide golf professionals and their students with an affordable, state-of-the art, cutting edge instructional technology, enabling instructors to capture and analyze the golf swing motion in 3-D, while providing immediate biofeedback to their students.
Moreover, the K-VEST, which has a base retail price of $3,500, is a system that golf professionals can utilize directly at their home teaching facilities. Similar systems have previously been available only through select high-tech golf labs and can cost upwards of $100,000.
