Lookout Point Golf Club of Fonthill, Ontario, ended the three-year reign of Stafford Country Club in the 2006 Walter J. Travis Cup. The event was decided by one-half point. Orchard Park Country Club (Orchard Park, NY) placed third. The event is an annual competition among Travis-designed courses. Participants include club championships of all ages and genders.
