Gastonia, NC – AccuFLEX Golf’s Song-Hee Kim captured her 5th victory of the season on the Futures Tour this past weekend at The Gettysburg Championship. With this latest victory, Kim tied Grace Park for the most victories in a single season with one event left to go. Kim has taken the Futures Tour by storm, in this her rookie season, and is expected to be a major factor on the LPGA Tour next year as well. This victory has brought her earnings up to a total of $75,086.00, only $6,443.00 away from the all time single season earnings record on the Futures Tour. Kim is just one win away from breaking both these records and going down as the most dominant player in Futures Tour history.
Kim captured these 5 victories with an AccuFLEX Evolution Lite shaft in her driver, 3 wood, and 5 wood this season. AccuFLEX Golf prides itself on "Making A Shaft To Fit Every Swing", Song-Hee Kim has obviously found the perfect combination.
All eyes will be on the ILOVENY Championship being held September 8-10 in Albany, NY to see if Kim and AccuFLEX Golf can make Futures Tour history!
"We’d like to congratulate Song-Hee on an absolutely amazing season," said Todd Cassidy, Vice-President of AccuFLEX Golf. "Regardless of what happens next weekend, we’ll be cheering her on all the way. She’s already proven herself to be one of the finest players the Futures Tour has ever seen. We’re proud to have her on the AccuFLEX Golf Team."
About The Evolution Lite
The Evolution Lite is the 2nd Nano Composite shaft produced by AccuFLEX Golf. It was designed to have the same feel and consistency of the original Evolution, however this shaft is lighter and has a slightly softer overall flex profile. The EVO Lite will also help to reduce spin and provides a mid-high ball flight. It is easier to load than the original Evolution, but still has a lot of stability and is very versatile for swingers and hitters. Available in A, R, S, and X flexes at a 62 gram weight.
