DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Aug. 30, 2006 – The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and Anheuser-Busch-through its low-carbohydrate Michelob ULTRA brand-are giving golf fans a chance to win the ultimate round of golf.
From Aug. 30 to Oct. 31, visitors to LPGA.com and MichelobULTRA.com can register to win nearly $25,000 in prizes, including a Grand Prize trip to West Palm Beach, Fla., for the ADT Championship, where 32 of the world’s best professional women golfers will vie for a chance at a record $1 million first-place check. Round-trip airfare, three-night hotel accommodations for two and $500 spending money are also included in the package.
The sweepstakes prominently features the three Michelob ULTRA Ambassadors. Fans who complete and submit the official online registration form will not only be entered into random drawings for the three Grand Prize packages, but will also be eligible for other Michelob ULTRA gear via nine weekly drawings. Nine first-prize winners will receive a Michelob ULTRA stand bag, while 45 second-prize winners will claim a Michelob ULTRA OGIO gym bag and two Michelob ULTRA training camp t-shirts.
"It’s only natural that a first-class brand like Michelob ULTRA offer fans both the opportunity to watch the world’s best female professional golfers vie for the record $1 million ADT Championship first-place check, and also play that same golf course the next day with a Michelob ULTRA Ambassador," said Eric Albright, LPGA senior director of marketing. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and illustrates the great partnership between the LPGA, Anheuser-Busch, our fans and consumers. Winners will have the chance to experience first hand why These Girls Rock."
