Tickets On Sale For The 2007 Mercedes-Benz Championship At Kapalua Resort’s Plantation Course

KAPALUA RESORT, MAUI, HAWAII—August 31, 2006 – The PGA TOUR returns to Kapalua Resort’s (Kapalua) Plantation Course January 1-7, 2007, with the season-opening, champions-only Mercedes-Benz Championship. The tickets are set to go on sale September 1, 2006, and golf fans can step into the action with season passes, as well as daily tickets. Nowhere else on the PGA TOUR can spectators enjoy great viewing access to an elite field of players, which includes three-time defending champion Stuart Appleby, Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh, Geoff Ogilvy, Jim Furyk, David Toms and Hawaii’s Dean Wilson.

The action begins with two days of professional practice rounds on January 1 and 2 followed by the Pro-Am on Wednesday, January 3. The first round of the Mercedes-Benz Championship tees off on Thursday, January 4 and continues each day with the final round on Sunday, January 7.

A Season Pass to the Mercedes-Benz Championship provides access to the entire week including the practice rounds, Pro-Am and four rounds of professional competition. The Season Pass is available at an advanced price of $55 through December 25. After December 25, the Season Pass increases to $80. Daily tickets are also available, with early-bird pricing available through December 25. Children 16 and under are free when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.

A one-year subscription to Golf Magazine (12 issues valued at $10) is included with your advance on-line purchase. Tickets purchased on-line can be transferred by email and lost or stolen tickets can be replaced. Tickets are also available at the gate during the event.
