Florida Company to Make Las Vegas PGA Merchandise Show Debut
PLANTATION, FLA (Sept. 8, 2006) —Fine Tune Golf, makers of the G-Clip, the 4-in-one golf product that was a tremendous hit in its debut at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando in January has taken the advice of Horace Greely and is heading west to make their debut at the PGA Merchandise Show in Las Vegas, September 13 and 14. The G-Clip will be exhibited at booth #1014.
"We were extremely warmed by the reception of the G-Clip by the golf industry in Orlando," says Fine Tune Golf founder and G-Clip inventor Keith Foley. "Since then, we’ve also had more tremendous experiences. We received a 90 percent approval from PGA Tour Partners. Our retail customers have been rewarded for working with us with incredibly quick sell through."
The G-Clip is a hit with retailers including Golf House in Canada, who recently signed on to carry the popular golf tool. Additional retailers include Edwin Watts Golf locations in San Antonio and Houston, Texas; Memphis, Tenn.; Pensacola, Miami, and Palm Beach, Fla.; and suburban Atlanta, Ga., Golfsmith Golf & Tennis who are promoting the product online and in stores and The Doral Resort and Spa in Miami. The G-Clip is also featured by leading online golf equipment websites such as The Golf Warehouse, the largest golf equipment retailer on the Internet whose site is visited by millions of golfers.
Foley exudes confidence as he takes his company west.
"All of this" explained Foley, "has given us the confidence to take the G-Clip west. It has allowed us to not only expand production of the G-Clip, but expand our creativity as well. We’re looking forward to an equally rewarding introduction at the Las Vegas show, where we have our original G-Clip to offer, as well as a new product and new packaging and display options for 2007 that we are excited to introduce."
Foley knows that there are clubs and retail outlets that visit the Las Vegas show and not the one in Orlando who will share the experience with the G-Clip that Mark Husak, golf merchandiser at the Jacaranda Golf Club in Plantation, Fla. has enjoyed.
"It is one of our best selling new products that we have in the store," said Husak. "We’ve sold through it three times in our first two months carrying the product. It’s a very useful tool for the golfer."
The G-Clip is also simplistic in its design that makes it easy to use. It is a ball mark repair tool that carries two tees. There’s a Velcro strip to which the golfer can attach their glove while putting or between shots. It holds a uniquely designed ball marker that can be easily seen lying on the green. In addition, there’s an occasional fifth use as it can be a mini-stand for an extra club when the grass is wet and the golfer wants to keep the grip dry. The G-Clip serves all these purposes, yet is compact enough to comfortably attach it to the belt."
Fine Tune Golf, headquartered in Plantation, Fla. and the company behind G-Clip, is dedicated to providing products that simplify and enhance the enjoyment of the golf experience for golfers everywhere.
