Gastonia, NC- AccuFLEX Golf’s new Creation shaft had its first victory this past week at the Bahama Island Resort South Carolina Senior Open on the Sunbelt Senior Tour. The new Creation shaft was in the driver of the winner of the tournament, who shot rounds of 66, 72, and 66 at Tidewater Golf Plantation in Myrtle Beach.
In addition to the CREATION shaft in his driver, the winner was using an AccuFLEX Icon HL in both of his hybrids and an AccuFLEX Icon Heavyweight in his 3 wood.
The winner qualified for the US Senior Open this year and had a lot of success on the PGA Tour back in the ’80’s. He is really looking forward to competing on the Champions Tour, now that he is finally eligible to play.
